I have been pondering for a while on what to put in this section and came across TraderMike’s website and gave me an idea of what I should put in here. I will use something similar to what he’s done - so here goes:

Who Am I?

Armand Aguillon

Home Base:

Australia

Trading:

Trading locally on the Australian markets and International Markets. I have traded instruments such as S&P 500, DJO, NASDAQ, ASX 200, UK 100, Nikkei 225, Hang Seng Index (HSI), currencies, commodities (i.e. Gold, Copper, Soybeans, Coffee), etc.

Education:

Currently finishing my degree in International Business through Griffith University. Also finishing another degree in Finance through University of Southern Queensland through external studies.

Currently working full time as Investor Services Manager for a Funds Management company. Having also previously worked in other areas related to finance such as insurance, banking and mortgages since 2001. Previous to that, I have taken a number of diverse jobs from shop assistant to customer service and have also successfully organised a Health Expo in Queensland, Australia.

I have dabbled in the sharemarket since 1998 but have never seriously since the last 3 years.

External:

I like keeping fit so I am constantly training in martial arts (Karate) and have been training since 1993. Apart from having stopped playing basketball (one of my favorite sports) - martial arts is the one that stayed with me until now. It is also what keeps me sane and disciplined when trading the markets.

TradeToSuccess.com’s purpose:

As a trader, I am always looking for ways to improve my trading skills and trade successfully. Either through reading a new book, a blog or the latest news. Hence, I have decided to put together a collection of ideas and information on what I come across and put it together in this website.

Hopefully, it will be useful to you. If so, please let me know. If not, let me know too or better yet if you have a suggestion that will make this site more useful to you - I am more than happy for a constructive criticism.

I will also post some information on other things that may not be about the sharemarket but it will at least be complimentary or useful.

Why should you listen to me?

You shouldn’t! I will never give advice and you must make your own decisions. It is this site’s goal to put a collection of information I found useful and hopefully will be for you too - so you can make an informed decision.

Trading philosophy:

I consider myself a day trader to short term trader (sometimes a “night trader” because of the difference in time zones) but I will generally hold my trading positions from a span of a few minutes to as long as a couple of weeks - depending on the instrument that I am trading.

Even as a short term trader I like to know what is happening in the “micro” level as well as the “macro” level in the local economy and globally. So, I may post some information based on fundamental analysis and not just technical analysis.

Hence, the sub heading:

“Understanding the Fundamentals along your Technical analysis.”
